  • The best airport to fly into is Dulles International Airport (IAD).

  • An alternative airport to fly into is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).

  • It is possible to take the Amtrak train into Washington DC Union Station (WAS).

Lodging

For lodging, the best options may be hotels in the following areas:

  • Fairfax City (where the funeral will be held; limited options).

  • Fair Oaks (a short <10 min car ride away; more options).

  • Tyson’s Corner, Falls Church, and Dunn Loring (~20 mins away; plenty of nicer options).
